Riga

Riga is the capital of Latvia and, with around 600,000 inhabitants, also the largest city in the Baltic States. The old Hanseatic city with its many impressive Art Nouveau buildings is the political, economic, and cultural center of the country, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and was also the European Capital of Culture in 2014. Particularly popular with tourists are the well-preserved old town, the lively art and culture scene, and the colorful and multicultural nightlife. Let yourself be surprised by the pearl of the Baltic.
